From West London indie rock band White Lies, their debut album, "To Lose My Life", and hit single "Farewell To The Fairground". The album hit #1 on the UK music charts and they are being touted as "the" hottest band out of England.
White Lies rose from the ashes of British indie band Fear of Flying. They are being compared to the likes of British acts such as Echo and The Bunnymen, The Cure, and Joy Division, as well as contemporary bands like The Killers and Franz Ferdinand. Nothing like a little pressure to live up to those expectations!
