Love, love, love the original "Phantom of the Opera" so how will the sequel fare?
"Love Never Dies" - the sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber's global hit "Phantom of the Opera" - opened last night in London after being in the works since 1997.
"Phantom" is a tale of gothic romance set in the Paris Opera that has been seen by 100 million people around the world since opening in 1986. It is still playing in London and New York, where it is the longest running show in Broadway history.
"Love Never Dies" picks up the story 10 years later, with the disfigured Phantom, who has relocated to the bright lights of New York's Coney Island and is still besotted with beautiful soprano Christine.
If you can't get to London to see it, you're in luck..."Love Never Dies" opens on Broadway in November 2010.
Check out this "metal" version of "Phantom" from Nightwish. It just might shatter all the glass in your house!
